The Spirit of Adventure – Girls Gone Wine

Twice this year, I have had the good fortune of visiting the Broken Bow/Beavers Bend area in Oklahoma.  The scenery is absolutely stunning and I really feel like it’s an opportunity to escape and disconnect (very little Wi-Fi connection).

Girls Gone Wine

During my first visit Tater Tot, the hubs and I visited this welcoming little shop called Girls Gone Wine.  I didn’t know what to expect, but it said wine so I was sold.  This place is a fun shop/winery that offers wine tasting on the premises.  I am no wine connoisseur, but I certainly felt fancy.  I was able to try several different varieties and picked two bottles to purchase.Girls Gone Wine

My second visit was during my husband and my six year wedding anniversary earlier this month.  Since it is summer, the place is a lot more crowded.  Instead of doing the tasting, I wanted to enjoy a refreshing glass of something sweet on their patio.  Despite the crowd, one of the ladies was extremely helpful and fixed us both up with a glass.  We sat on the patio and people watched while we decided which bottles we wanted to purchase.Girls Gone Wine

Both trips offered completely different experiences, but they were both excellent.  We enjoyed great customer service and a unique encounter that I have not found anywhere else.Girls Gone Wine

The ladies at Girls Gone Wine make all of the wine they sell.  They offer several types no matter what your preference is.  I personally love sweet wines, so I purchased Crush and Twisted Sisters on both trips.  For more information about this enjoyable shop, visit their website.  Also, if you get the chance to visit, you must try a WineARita.  Need I say more?
